Machame is a Zigzag route up and down trail. Hike high, sleep low is good for acclimatization. There is a challenging scramble up Baranco wall. Descent is through Mweka route. This Machame route is for camping and toilet facilities are available.

Mt Kilimanjaro climbing - 7 days Marangu route >

This route is easy, gradual ascent and the most popular route for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Sleep in shared wooden huts. Toilets, dining and washing rooms (cold shower) available. This route is recommended for one day for acclimatization
