Among the 9 world heritage sites in Ethiopia, registered by UNESCO, 5 of them are worth to be visited in this route. Lalibela Rock hewn churches, the 17th century Gonderian castles, the single standing stlea of Axum, the Simen Mountains national park and the walled City of Harar are acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage. Ethiopia is also stand at the first step in Africa for its 9 World heritage sites.

Suggested tour program

Day 1 ARRIVAL AT ADDIS ABABA

Arrival at Bole International Airport (Addis Ababa) where you will be met by a Feres Meda Travel and Tours representative and transferred to your Hotel in Addis ababa . depending on your flight and arrival City tour(Sightseeing tour that includes Trinity Cathedral-a beautiful church with a baroque style of European Architecture unique to both Ethiopia and Africa, National Museum-the home of the famous complete hominid fossil remain of Lucy dated 3.5 million years back, Ethnological Museum-presents different collections to have an overview of the history, culture, tradition and religions of almost all tribal groups in Ethiopia, Mount Entoto panoramic view point at the highest pick in Addis with an altitude of 3200 meters, The Merkato: the biggest open air market in Africa.)will be arranged at the first day or the last day in Addis Overnight (4*/5*)

Day 2 BAHIR DAR

Transfer to the Air Port and fly to Bahir Dar.After lunch drive to the mighty Blue Nile falls, commonly known as "Tis Isat". Upon return, make a sightseeing tour of Bahir Dar Overnight stay will be in your Hotel.

Day 3 LAKE TANA

After an early breakfast you will have boat excursion on Lake Tana, to visit the ancient monasteries on the lake. After noon visit the town of Bahir Dar. Overnight stay will be in your Hotel

Day 4 LALIBELLA

Transfer to the Air Port and fly to the legendary town of Lalibella. After check in to the hotel, visit the 11 rock-hewn churches in Lalibella town, dating back to the 12th century and which is considered to be the 8th wonders of the world. Overnight stay will be in your Hotel

Day 5 LALIBELLA AND SURROUNDING

Have half day optional excursion to visit some of the rock hewn churches around Lalibella town built prior to the churches in the town. In addition to the architecture of the churches, here you will admire the panoramic view of the town with the surrounding beautiful sceneries. Return to Lalibella for lunch. After lunch visit the remaining churches of the 11 monolithic rock-hewn churches in Lalibella town. Overnight stay will be in Hotel

Day 6 AXUM

Transfer to the Air port and fly to Axum. After check in to the hotel, have a city tour in Axum town. Here you will visit stale tombs, which is considered to be probably the oldest monolithic stand in the world, the church compound of St. Mary of Zion, which is the seat of the true Moose's Ark of the covenant, the Queen of Sheba's palace, King Kaleb's and Gebremeskel's palace and tombs, and Archeological Museum. Overnight stay will be in Hotel

Day 7 GONDAR

Transfer to the Air Port and fly to Gondar. After check in to the hotel, Visit the 17th century castles, the Bath of King Fasiledes, the icon- rich monastery of Debre Berehan Silassie. Overnight stay will be in hotel

Day 8 SIMEN NATIONAL PARK

Drive some 130 Km to the north or Gondar to the world heritage National park SIMEN national park walk around the breath taking mountains and over night Simen lodge/ Hotel in Debark. * Simen Mountains is optional

Day 9 GONDAR

Early in the morning around the simen national park to the stunning view points and Drive back to Gondar Overnight Hotel

Day 10 ADDIS ABABA

Transfer to the airport and flight back to Addis Ababa on your interest shopping will be arranged or it will be free time for the group. And departure.
