Day 1: ArrivalUpon arrival in Cairo our representative will greet you and assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & collection. Transfer from the airport via private A/C car or mini-bus to your hotel for check in and overnight. Day 2: Giza, Saqqara & MemphisFollowing breakfast, check out of hotel. The day starts with a guided tour in Giza to visit the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerionos to view these spectacular man-made monuments. Afterwards a tour of the great Sphinx; guarding the Royal Burial Chambers and temple of Kheops. We will have our Lunch and then you will be transferred to Saqqara to visit the step pyramid of Djoser which is considered to be the first Pyramids in the history. Finally, a visit to Memphis to explore the area and its monumets. |

Day 3: Egyptian Museum & Islamic CairoYour guide for the day will pick you up to take you to the Egyptian Museum which is considered to be the most ancient museum in the world. You will have a guided tour inside to see the golden treasure of Tut-Ankh-Amun & a great gallery of statues & portraits….etc Our next stop is in Islamic Cairo - we start at the Citadel fortress with a visit to theMohammed Ali Mosque (the alabaster mosque). The Citadel that was built by Salah-El-Din in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks of Cairowhose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style, very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey. Transport to your hotel Day 4: AlexandriaIn the morning, you will be driven to Alexandria the second biggest city in Egypt built by Alexander the great that was also the capital of Egypt under Cleopatra. Here you will visit the library of alexandria and the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, Pompeii’s Pillar and the Montaza Palace. Lunch (not included). Back to Cairo & overnight.
