Terra Centre for Fine & Applied Arts is a cultural institution, whose main activities are exhibitions, held in Terra gallery. Conceptually, the gallery mainly focuses on various aspects of contemporary art.
Beside numerous exhibitions, lectures and workshops, the main artistic happening, organized by the centre, is certainly the annual Terra International Terracotta Sculpture Symposium and the exhibition of the artefacts created at this event. Over the last 27 years have 378 sculptors from 31 countries participated in Terra's symposium.
Thanks to vast experience and knowledge in the field of large dimension terracotta sculptures, which has been accumulating over almost three decades, Terra also became an educational basis for students of the Art academy from Novi Sad and the Faculty of fine arts from Cetinje. In the near future, Terra is planning to establish its own college for MA and PhD studies.
